MIST advocates for the welfare and inclusion of migrants and their dependents in the West Midlands.

Our training courses give organisations and professionals full awareness of their legal duties towards migrants, including children, families and adults with care needs. This training is designed for social workers, council workers, educators, health workers, universities and charities and more.

MIST is currently unable to provide advice to migrants. We are in the process of registration to allow us to provide support and advice. We hope that soon we will be working directly with those with insecure migration status to reduce the impact of hostile government policies on lives and welfare.

When we are able, we will work with anybody in the West Midlands region who has insecure immigration status that denies them recourse to public funds.

We also work with those at risk of becoming undocumented, with precarious and time-limited leave to remain in the UK.
